Podcasts to find solutions!

Josh Korda

Podcasts can help you come to some conclusion or solution that you're unsure about.  So can plants, trees, and clouds.  The point is, we should work to find those solutions and understandings that we are faced with.  WHY?  Because your understandings, solutions, and conclusions will better our world.

SELF LOVE challenge!

Here is a question...What would a person who loved them selves do?  Teal Swan suggests asking yourself that question all day, everyday for an entire year.  Make it your mantra. Use it when faced with any decision to access your intuition.  If you're having trouble getting out of a behavior pattern that you know is unhealthy, try using the Teal Swan method.  Instantly recognize the choice that would best benefit yourself, others around your, and your environment.

inspiration through connection

I came across Katrina Bos through a post she made on "Collective Evolution" titled, "Tantra is the Opposite of Porn - Learning how to actually be intimate".  This inspired me because Tantra is a means of communication with out reservation.  I am always looking for ways to connect with people on a deeper level.  Check out her website, and see if you can utilize any of the teachings she offers.

THIS IS SO important!

This lesson, this practice is so helpful in life!  It is a key to benefiting from being in challenging situations / experiences!  When you're in the moment and going through circular thoughts about a situation and the pattern keeps repeating its self in your head, rely on this practice to open your mind to a new outlook.  Teal Swan strikes again.

Fresh Friday

Its fresh on this Friday because of all the fresh foods available to eat!  Focusing on the intake side of your energy balance, quality can make a difference.  Why!?  It comes down to the thoughts you will have toward the energy you are ingesting.  Higher quality energy sources, lead to higher frequency thoughts about the energy source.  Thus providing you with an additional boost besides the high quality of the energy you're ingesting.

positive thoughts = high frequency
negative thoughts = low frequency

We are bound to have both, and both are useful.  BUT it is an important skill and knowledge to have when making attempts to exist in a higher vibration.  It is also important to be able to observe your current state and make a conscious choice about where to go next based on your observation.

This has been a "just so you know" entry. Use it if you like, or dismiss it. Its your life.

Good Afternoon Health Heads :)

Today I wanna chat about being resourceful.  Resourcefulness is all about solving problems!  In regards to our health, there are always problems that need solved, and we can identify those problems, but solving them isn't as easy.  This cycle is usually the main cause for dropping out of the game of conscious health.  BUT PEOPLE, its 2013!!!  There are endless amounts of resources out there waiting for you to take advantage of them ;).  Lets talk more about this cycle...

1. Awareness of a problem
2. Identify the cause
3. Find all possible solutions
4. Choose the best solution
5. Try it out
6. If it fails, choose another route and continue till one works -- If it works, pat yourself on the back, and wait for the next problem to arise!

Where do you fall off the wagon?  Think about it.

However, back to the main point of this post... after steps one and two, resourcefulness can give you that extra edge in this game of life.  #3. Find all possible solutions.  Go out there and find the perfect solution to your health or happiness problem.  Don't be afraid to ask someone else for help, whether its a knowledgable friend, or a professional.  Don't be afraid to use an app for that.  Don't be afraid to "go within" (meditate).  Don't be afraid if the solution for your problem is different than everyone else's.  Pay attention to clues to any problems with in your health / happy journey, and don't be afraid to be a problem solver.

Resourcefulness ---> knowledge ---> power  ---*you have the power to take control of your health and happiness.

Here are two links to older posts of mine that will be helpful resources along with this topic ;) --check them out.

Balance in Flux

A person's health status maintains some balance. Factors that make up the balance have to do with eating habits, thought patterns, emotional status, past, present and perceptive future, relationships with others... EVERYTHING adds to your maintained balance.
Professionals in the field may tell you to take extreme measures to change your health status. Professionals may also tell you to pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time. But don't let professionals tell you how to be alive. Ask your own self.

"Self. How can we stay alive?"
The self will tell you.

It is changeable that eventually die?

Exert from:
Deepak Chopra Reinventing the body, Resurrecting the Soul.

"Reinventing the body means changing the whole universe.
Trying to tinker with your body misses the forest for the trees."

"One person fixates on her weight, another trains for a marathon, and yet another is adopting a vegan diet while her friend is dealing with menopause. Thomas Edison didn't tinker with building a better kerosene lamp; he abandoned the use of fire--the only human generated sourse of light since prehistoric times--and broke through to a new source. That was a quantum leap in creativity. If you are the creator of your body, what is the quantum leap awaiting you?"

The next section called: "Going back to the Source"
Deepak Chopra talks about electro-sensitivity syndrome, which is a new syndrome that has appeared recently. He talked about a few experiments that have been performed to find out if there is actually such a syndrome. The first experiment's results found that people with the syndrome did not perform any different from the people with out the syndrome. In the second experiment pain and discomfort was evident in the MRI's of people with the syndrome, however there was a placebo cell phone used. This meant the people weren't exposed to any electromagnetic field, they were only perceived to be in one.

Here is the problem that is presented to us today.
"Your whole body is holistic, dynamic process in support of being alive. You are in charge of that process, and yet no one has given you the knowledge of how you should approach your job." Deepak Chopra also says that people, professionals, can also only give you pieces of the problem, not the whole solution.

Here is a clue to our solution.
"...the mere expectation that they would be in pain was enough to create pain in certain people, and the next time they used a real cell phone, they would suffer from the syndrome."
"If someone says his is electro-sensitive, and his brain acts as if he is electro-sensitive, the condition is real--at least for him. Psychosomatic conditions are real for those who experience them."

In my opinion the electro-sensitive syndrome can be compared to all diseases. Deepak has, in other books said that the condition of our body is dependent upon memory. Our bodies constantly renews its self based on memory, therefore if the body is "dis-eased" it will replace its self diseased. His center, the Chopra Center, performs various techniques and therapies that work to replace the memory of the diseased cells with health and balance. This is how he has helped "spontaneous remissions" of cancer patients occur. The second experiment performed on electro-sensitive people proves that people can create conditions, and also create physical and mental symptoms just by thought.
Deepak Chopra tells us that the problem of everyday living is that most people are under the impression that as our bodies age, they deteriorate and die, therefore they do. But I believe that is also his solution. An impression and/or a perception is subject to change. It is changeable that we perceive age and other things cause sickness, disease, and death. It is changeable that we eventually die?

hmm.

change

In the stages of modifying a behavior the first stage involves a thinking process. This thinking process is one you most likely go through very often when trying to change something about yourself. Most of us don't get past this stage because we let fear and doubt scare us out of taking the next step. There is a reason the thinking process occurs: when behavior change thoughts surface into your consciousness its very important, because there is a very intimate relationship between your mind and body... therefore thoughts about behavior change mean the body is communicating with the mind, and we should pay attention!!!

There are two classifications of change driven thoughts: health and professional. Health thoughts are important directions to keep your body and mind healthy. Professional thoughts are important directions to keep the world around you healthy.

Ongoing living

Hey Friends,

Fears, doubts, and settling. These things hold us from doing what we want to do. Think about a time you thought of something that could make you a millionaire ... or think of a time you knew how to make something 10times better at work . What stops you from going through with the idea? What stops you from speaking up to your boss? Fears, doubts and settling.

Its understandable that we fear, doubt, and settle for less so often. Our society is built on having safety and security... its built on making money, buying houses, and raising families. Any society's norms are very thick and tough. Its not easy to do something different. Sometimes something you want to do might not be any different from the social norms, it just might be out of your realm, or seemingly far fetched.

WELL, in reality, we are able to make any dream come true. Don't let fear or doubt make you settle for less. Whether you are trying to make something better at work, or lose 50lbs you can make it happen. Think of something you have wanted to do, or change in your life and think of why it hasn't happened yet. Why hasn't it happened??? What is holding you back from accomplishing your dream?

Remember we are all more similar than we are different. Everyone has things they want to do and don't. You know the feeling you get when a teacher or boss asks a question to the entire class or room and expects someone to answer... you know the answer, but don't speak up because you fear messing up, or having the wrong answer? What would it hurt to say it? In the same regards, trying never hurt anyone (depending on what you're trying).

Take steps toward accomplishing your dreams..

the balance

Hello :)

I want to talk about balance tonight (its 11:30). I base a lot of my theories on balance. We all attempt to keep a balance in our everyday lives. It keeps us satisfied, but is very sensitive to change. When the our bodies sense changes in our balance, they are quick to figure out a way to back to that balance. Usually, the shortest route is back to normality... back to how it was before. That is why it is MORE difficult to change something about yourself.
So my solution to this issue is to take baby steps, and use tender love and care when trying to help people change, or help myself change. In order to change something about yourself for life, you must take it slow, and beeee careful. We musn't wake the balance because it will want to go running back to where it came from.
This is the way I help people become happy and healthy. When I meet a client, I find out everything I can about them so that I have a good idea of how their balance has been kept in the past. When I know that, then I am able to encourage and guide them in the right direction, without disturbing their balance.
If you are trying to change something on your own... take small steps, and try to become more aware of your surroundings, emotions, thoughts, and actions. Being more aware of these things will help you know how your balance is kept, and it will also help you figure out where you are able to take small, non disruptive steps toward change.

Ask me questions :)
